Anodizing & Surface Finishing for CNC Parts
Anodizing and surface finishing for CNC machined parts, arranged together with the machining.
What Is Surface Finishing?
Surface finishing encompasses various post-machining processes that enhance a part's appearance, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, or electrical properties.
We offer over 10 finishing options including anodizing (Type II & III), electroplating, powder coating, bead blasting, passivation, and mirror polishing.
Available Finishes
As Machined
Standard machined surface with tool marks visible. Cost-effective for non-cosmetic parts.
Bead Blasted
Uniform matte finish created by blasting with glass beads. Hides tool marks.
Anodized (Type II)
Oxide layer for corrosion resistance and color options. Ideal for aluminum parts.
Hard Anodized (Type III)
Thick, hard oxide layer for extreme wear and corrosion resistance.
Powder Coated
Durable color coating applied electrostatically. Wide range of colors and textures.
Electroplated
Nickel, chrome, or zinc plating for conductivity, corrosion resistance, or appearance.
Mirror Polished
Multi-step polishing to achieve mirror-like surface finish for optical or decorative use.
Passivated
Chemical treatment to enhance corrosion resistance of stainless steel parts.
Black Oxide
Dark finish for steel parts providing mild corrosion resistance and reduced light reflection.
Applications
Aerospace
Automotive

Anodizing for CNC machined aluminum parts
We offer surface finishing including anodizing, arranged together with the machining. Anodizing protects aluminum parts against corrosion and wear and gives them their color — the finish you see on most bicycle hubs and components.
Because the anodized layer adds a little thickness, tell us which bores, threads and fits must stay bare or need allowance, and the color you need.
Ordering machining and finishing together
One supplier for both means one point of contact, and allowances and masking can be planned together with the machining. Read our guide to anodized aluminum CNC parts for design tips.
Send a STEP model and a PDF drawing through our quote form, or email them to a0937121023@gmail.com. Tell us the material, finish, quantity and destination country, and we will reply with a quote and design feedback.
